LET'S TALK MINDFULNESS!
This fun class uses a sequence of simple, yet powerful, mindfulness tools to help your child naturally discover the happiness they deserve. Incorporating speech-language therapy into activities, as needed, creates an efficient way to treat concomitant speech-language and social-emotional disorders.
Increasing awareness of the brain-body relationship teaches self-regulation strategies, allowing children to better manage their thoughts and feelings. Movement activates the brain to encourage learning while building strength, balance, flexibility, and self-confidence.
Through fun and age-appropriate breathing exercises, children recognize they are in control of their bodies through their breath equipping them with tools to reduce stress, improve focus, manage energy levels and enhance their happiness.

MINDFUL ACTIVITIES FOR FOCUS
Fun and engaging group activities designed to improve present moment awareness cultivate important skills for children to use throughout their lives. By practicing focused awareness children strengthen attention, learn to manage distractions, improve memory, and experience greater enjoyment.
RELAXING AND RESTORING
A combination of relaxation techniques, combined with guided visualization, help children de-stress while enhancing creative imagery. Calming the body and mind can be beneficial in many situations including coping with daily stressors at school, life transitions, and falling asleep at night.
Through research-based practices, we teach hand movements, positive affirmations, and mindsets to help children rewire the way their brains and bodies react. By activating certain areas of the brain through mudras, we can energize, focus, or calm the body to improve regulation. Using affirmations helps children think positively and develop a growth mindset. Additionally, we use themes of kindness and gratitude which are scientifically proven to lift mood, reduce stress, build immunity, increase energy levels and confidence, and develop resiliency.
